Ku-whatcha?

Hi blog readers!

If you know me, you know that I am always up for a good cup of tea! I stopped drinking coffee 6 years back when I moved to NYC because as an ex-employee of Starbucks, I was drained by coffee overload! Don't get me wrong, I love the smell, taste, and smoothness of a good cup of joe...but I just can't drink it anymore because it makes me go crazy!?

 

Let me tell you about my newest favorite tea...Kukicha, or Twig Tea! It has a mildy nutty, sweet, creamy flavor, and it's super good for you! It has barely any caffiene, and since it's made of the stems of young twigs, it provides the good vitamins and minerals that feed the growth parts of the plant. The tea contains calcium, vitamins A, B-complex, and C!

 

I get my Kukicha from the store Health Nuts on the Upper West Side (98th St. and Broadway) and I'm sure it's available at Whole Foods Market and other health stores.

 

Grab a box, heat some water, steep for a few minutes, and enjoy a quiet moment with your twigs!
